Aubrey Sarna

I’m a freelancer from Chicago, and I chose to do a simple design with playful colors because the theme of this song is about enjoying the simple things in life.

Above is my design. I’ve been influenced by the music sung by the late Josephill: Ganja. The music is Jamaican so i used their flag colors to present their culture and the green leafs to present the song Ganja.

Poppy Betharia

Hello, I’m Poppy Betharia, an illustrator from Petshopbox Studio.

This is my design for Vectortuts+ Cassette Design Challenge.
I designed this cassette based on the latest PV from my favorite Japanese electropop girl group “Perfume – Spending All My Time”, the single was released on 15 August. You can see the video here.

The colors on my design is a symbol of the elements contained in PV, such as the color of their clothes, room, lock the doors, tables and apples. I also use a triangle on my design, because perfume is always using the triangle to their identity.

Poppy Yunita

I’m Poppy, an illustrator @ Petshopbox Studio. I likes simple designs, like what I’ve made into those cassettes designs.

For the first design: Kylie Minogue – Can’t Get You Out Of My Head. Black and Red are bold, I like to listening this song while walking around the city at the night.. The blue squares shows us the beat of the song.

The second design: Avril Lavigne- Alice (underground). The characters from Alice in Wonderland movie are so colorful and iconic

When I think of mix tapes I think of when the tape would get stuck and you had to use a pencil yo wind it back up. Tapes over CD’s any day!

Talia C Cruz

Hi, I’m Talia C. from Puerto Rico. I am just starting as a freelance Graphic Designer. Putting creativity and color into everything I make is what I enjoy the most as a graphic designer. I also like to create character themed polymer clay jewelry and miniatures.

The design I made was inspired by the music video “We Are Golden” by Mika. The music video is a very up beat Pop/Rock. It’s super colorful, bright and fun. I’ve used bright gradient colors to simulate a golden texture and added some blue and pink to make the gold kinda pop out more. I think the colors represent the video quite well. I hope you guys like it!
