As one of the few Canadian Envato staff, I’m often called upon by the Australian staff to explain exactly what’s up with all that white stuff? So it was no surprise that I stepped up to handle this roundup of some of the great winter illustrations and vectors from our GraphicRiver marketplace.
Here’s just a sampling of some of the great work going up at our sister site.
Winter Forrest Grunge Design
I actually enjoy winter and I’m a fan of the grunge look. So I was suitably impressed with helix7’s combination of the two in this winter-grunge illustration.
Winter in City
Nitroz’ Winter in City delivers a warm and cozy feel of a metropolis preparing for a warm blanket of snow.
Illustrator Graphic Styles. Stars Deco
If you’re looking to add a little ice-sparkle to your text you should check out this star-style you can apply to any of your fonts or objects.
Vector bullfinch and ashberry
I don’t know how some of these little birds stay alive all winter long, but they certainly add a bit of life and color to a typically white covered environment. Denis13 does a wonderful job of capturing the colorful bullfinch in this vector graphic.
Sign & Snow
You can decide what you want to put in this snow covered sign, but may I suggest “Canada 100 KM – Please bring long-underwear.”
Winter Banners Vertical
I love the look of this vertical winter banners. I think they would fit great in a website sidebar to add a touch of winter whimsy.
Floral background with a fir twig
Fir trees are the strongmen of winter. While most trees lose their leaves, the fir maintains its green needles all year long.
Pinguins
I’m not sure if the artist was going for ‘Penguins’ or if this is an entirely new breed that I’m not aware of. Regardless, it’s a fun illustration!
Mountain Scape in Winter and in Summer
This vector illustration by Grebenru gives you the best of two seasons. Incorporate this into a website header or footer and change the look of your site for either season.
Winter grunge design
More winter grunge from Helix7. I think this would great on a newsletter or for a site background.
Blue branch of fir-tree
This simple vector of a fir-tree branch captures the crisp feel of winter very well.
Polar Bear Cub
This polar bear cub looks a little sad to me. But I guess if I spent most of my life in sub-zero temperatures I would be a little sad, too.
Snowman
Few things say winter like a happy snowman. Expect for maybe a frostbitten Canadian.
Winter Landscapes
Some great looking winter landscapes that can be easily used in a site header or footer.
Cow in winter coniferous wood
Why is this cow outside in the snow? And who knitted her that attractive scarf and toque? These are questions you’ll have to answer yourself.
Cold winter night
I’m glad this snowman can remain positive during this cold winter night.
Tiger winter color 01
Nothing says winter quite like snow and tigers =)
Vector Snowflakes With Seamless Patterns
What would a winter roundup be without some snowflakes. Use these individually or in a seamless pattern for a website background.
Northern Lights Background
While the magnetic north continues to move, we’re getting to see less and less of the northern lights (at least where I live). ToivoMedia does a nice job of capturing the flow and sparkle of this mysterious light show.
Snowflakes frame
Add a little winter sparkle to your newsletter or cards with these snowflake frames by djjeep.
There are plenty more winter graphics and illustrations over at GraphicRiver. Be sure to head over and check them out!
