Just because you missed that awesome conference, doesn’t mean that you can’t still watch the lectures! This weekend, we feature an inspiring talk that Naif Al-Mutawa did at TED. In “THE 99,” Naif Al-Mutawa’s new generation of comic book heroes fight stereotypes and battle extremism. His characters are named after the 99 attributes of Allah. They reinforce positive messages of Islam and cross cultures to create a new moral framework for confronting evil. They also have awesome super powers. It’s notable that they will be teaming up with the Justice League of America.
